考研自主划线是指部分高校拥有自主决定考研复试分数线的权利。

考研自主划线具体的方式是初试的分数线由各个有自主划线权的学校自己划定，而不用参考国家统一划定的分数线，即学校可以根据报考自己学校考生的情况和计划招生的人数来确定分数线。

学校自己确定后，上报教育部备案就可以了。而不是像以前，等教育部的国家线出来了，再在国家线上涨多少分予以通过。全国自主划线的学校共有34所。

自主划线的学校的分数线都会先于国家线而出，而且基本上都会高于国家线，也不排除有个别学校个别专业会低于国家线。一般而言，34所自划线高校由于报考人数多、生源充足，其复试分数线往往比国家线要高，因此考研难度也相对较大。
